Best Loser
 

 
Wise: Bowl of fruit available for snacking.
 
Unwise: Not planning for "good" snacks.  
 
Our topic tonight per the Mayo Clinic (see link below) was Weight Loss: Gain control of emotional eating
 
Many factors in our lives can cause us to lose sight of our goal to control our weight. Life events such as financial or health issues and/or unemployment or job issues, some or all of these can contribute to mindless eating, impulsive or binge eating. The food is serving as a distraction.
 
Possible solutions involve journal keeping, healthy snacking, removing temptation and getting support.
